Beginning next week, September 8th, we will officially open our campus for parent/guardian lunch visits! 🎉
Please review the attached schedule carefully for the designated day each grade level may have lunch visitors. To ensure we have enough seating for everyone, parents/guardians will ONLY be permitted to visit on their grade level’s designated day.
A few important reminders:
🍽️ Parents/guests will have designated seating in the cafeteria to enjoy lunch with their student.
🥡 Outside food may only be brought if the parent/guest is staying to eat with their student.
👨👩👧 Only parents/guests listed on the student’s emergency contact list will be permitted to eat with the student.
🚫 Food may not be shared with other students/friends.
🪪 All parents/guests must check in through the front office and present a valid ID. No exceptions.

Permission slips for our extracurricular clubs will be sent home this week in the Red Roadrunner Communication Folders for all 3rd–5th grade students. 📝✨
📅 All permission slips are due Friday, August 25th.

As an additional measure to support a safe and efficient dismissal, we have added transportation tags to every student’s backpack. These tags help our staff ensure students arrive at the correct dismissal location each afternoon, whether they are a bus rider, Latchkey student, car rider, or walker.
The tag attached to your child’s backpack will serve as their daily dismissal indicator for our staff. Please help us by keeping this tag attached to your child’s backpack.
If your child will be going home differently than what is indicated on their transportation tag, please contact our front office at 361-878-2760 no later than 2:45 PM to notify us of the change. This allows us to communicate the change to the appropriate staff members in a timely manner and ensure your child arrives at the correct dismissal location safely.

📚✨ Our teachers took a trip to the library and found some great books to bring learning to life in their classrooms!
