Our 5th grade scientists put their learning to the test as they explored mass, volume, and density! Students experimented with different liquids to discover which were more or less dense than water while practicing hands-on measurement and observation.

Please review the attached schedule carefully for the designated day each grade level may have lunch visitors. To ensure we have enough seating for everyone, parents/guardians will ONLY be permitted to visit on their grade level’s designated day.
A few important reminders:
🍽️ Parents/guests will have designated seating in the cafeteria to enjoy lunch with their student.

As an additional measure to support a safe and efficient dismissal, we have added transportation tags to every student’s backpack. These tags help our staff ensure students arrive at the correct dismissal location each afternoon, whether they are a bus rider, Latchkey student, car rider, or walker.
The tag attached to your child’s backpack will serve as their daily dismissal indicator for our staff. Please help us by keeping this tag attached to your child’s backpack.
If your child will be going home differently than what is indicated on their transportation tag, please contact our front office at 361-878-2760 no later than 2:45 PM to notify us of the change. This allows us to communicate the change to the appropriate staff members in a timely manner and ensure your child arrives at the correct dismissal location safely.
